MR. CLIFFORD SCOTT HOWERTON
September 8, 1946 - May 22, 2001
Cliff Howerton, 54, of Bridgeport, WV passed away May 22, 2001 at his home. Cliff was preceded in death by his mother, June Howerton. Survivors include: father, Walter S. Howerton of Myrtle Beach, SC and brother, Wally Howerton of Richwood, WV.
He was a Vietnam era veteran of the United States Navy attached to Patrol Squadron 1 homebased at Whidbey Island, Washington. He was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal and the Meritorious Unit Commendation.
He will rest in the National Cemetery in Grafton, West Virginia.
